I’d been curious to see the new Rambo film (stop laughing, please) out of a sense of nostalgic curiosity. This review on Variety, though, made me change my mind. Its simply a depressing review of what sounds like an unhappy film, with limited plot and running time to boot. Not that the originals were shiny happy films, but at least there was something to them. This sounds just bland.
Go see it. Definitely worth a matinee.
