I was rereading my old columns from Pop Image during lunch, after thinking about the Old Days that we were talking about yesterday at Emerald City Comic Con. The Warren Ellis Forum, how the Internet was once this new and shiny place, when comics news sites were still basically labors of love done for free mostly… Pop Image, Sequential Tart, Ninth Age… I wrote a couple of columns for PI and served briefly as an editor there. And by old, I mean really old, as in ten years old. Rereading some of them was sort of painful, but I suppose for the time period they were topical.

The good old days. It was a bit surreal at ECCC yesterday, given I think this was the largest per capita concentration of old WEFers in one place for easily 5+ years that I know of, in North America at least.

EDIT: Ugh, there were home heinous typos on a couple of those.
